KIMERA 1.0 BETA — READ ME Joe Simon Audio | Signal Domain ApS WELCOME Kimera is an audio effect for designing and playing modeled guitar amplifiers. This note covers installation and first launch. The full User Manual contains the detailed operating instructions. INSTALLATION Windows: Run Kimera-1.0.0-beta-Windows.exe and follow the installer prompts. macOS: Open Kimera-1.0.0-beta-macOS.pkg and follow the installer prompts. If your audio host was open during installation, close and reopen it so it can scan for installed plug-in formats. The plug-in formats included with a package will be identified on the Kimera Downloads page. Check the system and host requirements in the User Manual before installing. ACTIVATION AND EVALUATION At first launch, enter your signed license text and choose ACTIVATE, or choose START 60 MIN TRIAL to evaluate Kimera. The evaluation timer applies separately to each plug-in instance. When an instance's trial expires, its audio output is muted; the editor remains available so you can save your design. SAFETY Start with conservative audio levels. Amplifier models can produce loud output when input, gain, or output settings are changed. Check levels before playback through headphones or loudspeakers.
